Formulation:
Oxytetracycline Dihydrate – Terramycin / LA Injectable Solution is a unique patented formulation containing 200 mg Oxytetracycline base per ml. The unique formulation provides sustained Terramycin blood level over a 3 to 5 days in Swine, Cattle, Sheep, Goat, Sheep, Deer, Chicken, Turkey and Rabbit following a single treatment of 1 ml per 10 kg body weight.
Oxytetracycline Dihydrate – Terramycin / LA Injectable Solution is a sterile, clear, stable and ready to use solution.
Indication, Dosage And Administration:
Oxytetracycline Dihydrate – Terramycin / LA Injectable Solution is indicated for the treatment and control of condition caused by or associated with oxytetracycline susceptible organisms. A large number of gram positive and negative gram bacteria certain mycoplasma species, rickettsiae, protozoa and psittacosis lymphogranuloma group (Chlamydia) are sensitive to Terramycin.
With its sustained antibiotic blood level (Oxytetracycline Dihydrate) Terramycin / LA Injectable Solution is recommended whenever prolonged antibiotic therapy or prophylaxis is indicated but for practical, economic or veterinary reasons, frequent animal handling and repeat dosing is not feasible.

For treatment of pneumonia, leptospirosis, erysipelas, systemic mastitis, bacterial enteritis, navel joint ill and wound infections.
Aid in control or prevention of pneumonia associated with shipping or movement, MMA (Metritis Mastitis Agalactia) syndrome in sows, scours in nursing piglets and post operative and post parturient infections.
Dose: Single treatment of 1 ml per 10 kg body weight (20 mg/kg BW by deep intramuscular injection or by subcutaneous injection in piglets less than 10 kg body weight. In piglets less than 2 kg body weight do not administer more than 0.5 ml Oxytetracycline Dihydrate – Terramycin / LA and do not administer parenteral iron on the same day.

For treatment of anaplasmosis, pneumonia, leptospirosis, foot rot, diphtheria, systemic mastitis, black leg, bacterial enteritis, navel joint ill, heart water, dermatophilosis, pink eye and wound infection.
Aid in control or prevention of shipping fever pneumonia and post operative and parturient infections.
Dose: Single treatment of 1 ml per 10 kg body weight (20 mg/kg BW by deep intramuscular injection

For treatment of pneumonia, enzootic abortion (Bedsoniasis), black leg, foot rot, systemic mastitis, metritis, navel joint ill, heart water and wound infection.
Dose: Single treatment of 1 ml per 10 kg body weight (20 mg/kg BW by deep intramuscular injection

For treatment of pneumonia,systemic mastitis, foot rot, mycoplasmosis, heart water and wound infection.
Dose: Single treatment of 1 ml per 10 kg body weight (20 mg/kg BW by deep intramuscular injection.

Cervus Elaphus – For prevention and treatment of yersiniosis (a respiratory disease associated with deer raised in confinement).
Dose: Single treatment of 1 ml per 10 kg body weight (20 mg/kg BW by deep intramuscular injection.

Chicken and Turkey – For prevention and treatment of oxytetracycline susceptible conditions including fowl cholera, infection coryza and complicated CRD.
Dose: Single treatment of 0.25 ml per body weight (50 mg/kg BW) by subcutaneous injection (near base of neck)
—–Rabbits—–
For prevention and treatment of oxytetracycline susceptible conditions including infections due to Pasteurella Multocida, Bordetella Bronchiseptica, E. colli and salmonella spp,.
Dose: Single treatment of 0.25 ml per body weight (50 mg/kg BW) by subcutaneous injection (near base of neck)
Normally a single treatment will be sufficient for the treatment of susceptible disease condition in any of these animal species. Severe infections may require re treatment at 3 to 5 days following the initial injection.
Due to high concentration of oxytetracycline and its long acting effect temporary localized swelling at the injection site may be observed up to 5 days following injection. To minimize local tissue irritation at the injection site it is recommended that no more than 10 ml in swine, 20 ml in Cattle, 5 ml in sheep, goat and deer be injected at one site.
WARNING:
For Animal Use Only. The level of drug residues in edible tissues and meat following injection does not present a human health hazard.
Solution may darken during use without affecting potency.
Withdrawal Period:
Meat – 21 days
Milk – 7 days
